How to Play Jetpack for Brainrots

Every session in Jetpack for Brainrots follows the same profitable cycle: launch from your base plot, fly toward a sky island, collect Brainrot characters, return before fuel depletes, place units on your base slots, collect passive cash, and reinvest in fuel and speed upgrades. Rinse and repeat at progressively higher islands.

Your base plot is the safe zone where collected Brainrots generate money per second. Empty slots earn nothing — always fill slots before making long flights. Cash from placed Brainrots funds your upgrades, which in turn let you reach islands with rarer, higher-earning units.

On PC, press Space or the fly button to activate your jetpack. Hold to ascend and use WASD to steer horizontally. On mobile, tap and hold the on-screen fly button and use the virtual joystick. Your fuel gauge drains continuously while flying — when it hits zero, you fall and drop any Brainrots you carry.

Early jetpacks have limited fuel capacity. Buy fuel upgrades at the shop near your base before attempting distant islands. A safe rule: never fly past 70% fuel consumption without turning back. See our Fuel Management Guide for advanced planning.

Brainrots spawn on floating island platforms at various heights. Walk up to a unit and interact to pick it up. You can carry a limited number — upgrade carry capacity at the shop to haul multiple units per trip. Once picked up, guards may chase you, so move quickly.

Return to your base and place Brainrots on designated slots. Each slot generates passive income based on the unit's rarity and upgrade level. Stand on green collection pads to gather accumulated cash. Sell unwanted units at the sell shop to fund upgrades.

Three upgrades dominate early progression: fuel capacity (reach farther islands), flight speed (faster round trips and guard escapes), and carry capacity (more Brainrots per run). Speed also gates rebirth — you need minimum speed levels to unlock rebirth tiers and stronger jetpacks.

Brainrot upgrades on individual units multiply their passive income. Prioritize upgrading your highest-rarity units first. Bulk-buy speed in +5 or +10 increments for cost efficiency rather than single upgrades.

Large NPC Brainrots patrol island platforms. They become hostile when you pick up a unit and will chase you, draining fuel or knocking you down on contact. Fly at angles they cannot follow, use speed boosts between islands, and never linger on a platform after grabbing loot.

Rebirth resets your speed and cash but grants permanent cash multipliers and unlocks better jetpack tiers. Each rebirth requires hitting a speed threshold shown in the rebirth menu. Stronger jetpacks fly faster, hold more fuel, and reach islands that gate Exotic Brainrots.

Do not rebirth prematurely. Spend all cash on carry and fuel upgrades first, then rebirth when income growth plateaus. The Rebirth System page lists every tier's requirements and rewards.
